George LeBaron is the son of Walter A. and Alice (Vickers) LeBaron, both of whom were born at Binghamton, New York, where they now reside.

George LeBaron graduated from Binghamton High School in 1918, and from the General Electric Company's apprentice course at Erie, Pennsylvania, in 1921. He then attended Carnegie Institute of Technology at Pittsburgh, graduating with the degree of B. S. in Electrical Engineering in 1926. Mr. LeBaron won high scholastic honors while in college, becoming a member of the Tau Beta Pi honorary fraternity. He was also an active member of the Musical Club, of which he was the manager, and was active in the promotion of better Iiving conditions among the undergraduates with whom he associated.

Since graduating from college Mr. LeBaron worked several years for the North East Copper Works, after which he was employed by the General Electric Company, where he has continuously filled positions of responsibility for many years, and is now the Assistant Superintendent of the Locomotive Division.

Mrs. George LeBaron attended high school in Erie and graduated from the Indiana State Normal School, now the Indiana State Teachers College, in 1920. She then attended Allegheny College at Meadville, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1924 with an A. B. degree. While in college she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and Phi Beta Kappa honorary fraternity. She had excelled in scholarship consistently throughout her school days, and had been active socially as well. Mrs. LeBaron also became an accomplished pianist at a very early age. After her graduation from college she became a teacher of History and English at Erie Academy High School for two years prior to her marriage.
